Job Description
Folsom Pharmacy is looking for a reliable, friendly, and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with daily pharmacy operations, provide excellent customer service, and help with local prescription deliveries when needed.
We are seeking someone who is organized, dependable, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and willing to support both in-store pharmacy operations and deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
Assist pharmacists with prescription processing, filling, labeling, and packaging.
Enter and update patient information and process insurance claims.
Assist customers with prescription pickups, refill requests, and general inquiries.
Manage prescription inventory, restocking, and medication expiration checks.
Communicate with patients, prescribers, and insurance companies as needed.
Maintain accurate pharmacy records and follow HIPAA privacy requirements.
Perform local prescription deliveries to patients when needed, following pharmacy procedures.
Help with daily pharmacy operations and other assigned tasks.
Qualifications
Active California Pharmacy Technician license issued by the California State Board of Pharmacy.
Previous retail or independent pharmacy experience preferred.
Valid California driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Reliable transportation for deliveries.
Familiarity with pharmacy software and insurance billing is a plus.
Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and work independently.
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
