Pharmacy Delivery Driver (Part Time)

We are looking for highly motivated individuals with a positive attitude who are seeking the opportunity to be employed as a Pharmacy Delivery in a retail pharmacy setting. Candidates must be hardworking, flexible, highly professional, responsible, possess excellent customer service and computer skills. High school diploma required. Candidates must be willing to take a drug test and a background check. The ability to use a smartphone is required. Must meet our value of going beyond to help our customers.

The role of the Pharmacy Delivery Driver includes:

• Deliver inter-office mail and pharmaceuticals, following an established schedule.
• Notify customers the expected delivery time.
• Drive responsibly and safely in order to minimize damage or excessive wear and tear on the delivery vehicles.
• Convey any mechanical problems identified with the delivery vehicles to the Director of Pharmacy Services as soon as possible.
• Ensure delivery vehicles are in safe operating condition (e.g. fuel, wash, tires, and inspection) including transport of vehicles to appropriate dealership, repair shop, etc.
• Remove trash, empty boxes, and cartons from dispensing area as directed.
• Clear pharmacy entrance of snow and ice during scheduled work time.
• Able to use smartphone to input signature.

Experience/Requirements:

• Ability to pass drug test.
• Minimum age of 18 years old as required by state law.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and problems as they arise.
• Committed to providing customer service that makes both internal and external customers feel welcome, important, and appreciated.
• Ability to preserve confidentiality of information.
• Ability and willingness to move with purpose and a strong sense of urgency.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks/projects.
