Node.JS Developer

Responsibilities:

• Write serverless APIs for the Amazon Web Services cloud
• Design and implement highly scalable, interactive web applications with high usability
• Design and implement backend application interfaces for data and services
• Collaborate with business analysts to define software requirements for programming effort
• Support production software operations, test and debug programs
• Report progress and status of assigned tasks to project teams and managers
• Provide technical leadership and motivation to junior developers

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience developing Web applications
• 1+ year of experience with Node.JS in a professional setting
• Experience with jQuery and other JavaScript libraries
• Strong understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, AJAX, and REST
• Solid foundation in an enterprise language such as C#, Java, or VB development
• Experience with SQL (any flavor)

Plusses:

• Experience working with NoSQL data stores and NoSQL Databases such as DynamoDB, MongoDB, CouchDB
• Experience working with Cloud systems (such as AWS)
• Linux shell scripting
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline

Required Skills: 2+ years of Node.JS development, must have experience with SSO (Single Sign On) Projects, developing Serveless APIs, experience with Javascript and common libraries such as react, angular, bootstrap (react would be major plus), cloud experience a major plus- AWS.
