This role goes beyond traditional bartending. The ideal candidate is a beverage professional with a passion for mixology, luxury hospitality, and personalized guest service. You will curate handcrafted cocktails, provide expert recommendations, and build meaningful relationships with members and guests while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, presentation, and discretion. If you thrive in a sophisticated, high-touch environment and take pride in creating memorable experiences through exceptional beverage craftsmanship, we invite you to join our team.

Benefits vary by location and are subject to any legal requirements or limitations, employee eligibility status, and where the employee lives and/or works.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Luxury Guest Experience: Welcome VIP members and guests with warmth, professionalism, and personalized service. Build rapport with guests by learning preferences and delivering customized beverage recommendations. Anticipate guest needs and consistently exceed expectations through attentive and discreet service. Create memorable experiences that reflect the club's luxury hospitality standards. • Beverage Preparation & Mixology: Craft and serve premium cocktails, spirits, wine, champagne, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and consistency. Develop innovative cocktails and signature beverage offerings that align with seasonal menus and club events. Demonstrate extensive knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne, craft cocktails, and current beverage trends. Ensure all beverages are presented according to luxury service and presentation standards. Support dining and service staff with beverage preparation during peak service periods.
  • Operational Excellence: Set up and maintain bar workstations by stocking beverage products, ice, and supplies; ensuring cleanliness and organization; and removing trash and recyclables as needed to support efficient bar operations. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering, stock rotation, and inventory controls. Maintain proper storage and handling of all beverage products. Ensure bar areas remain clean, polished, and presentation-ready throughout service. Safeguard company assets and maintain accurate cash-handling procedures.
  • Compliance & Safety: Adhere to all alcohol service regulations and responsible beverage service practices. Verify guest identification and ensure compliance with all applicable legal requirements. Follow food safety, sanitation, health, and workplace safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all equipment, glassware, and work areas.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with culinary, dining room, and leadership teams to create exceptional guest experiences. Participate in pre-shift briefings, training sessions, and special event preparation. Contribute ideas for cocktail programs, beverage promotions, and luxury guest experiences. Support special events, VIP functions, member experiences, and seasonal culinary programs as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a mixologist, bartender, or beverage professional in a luxury hotel, fine dining restaurant, private club, upscale lounge, or premium hospitality environment, with experience serving VIP and high-profile guests preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of craft cocktails, premium spirits, wine, champagne, and current beverage trends, with related hospitality, wine, spirits, or mixology certifications considered a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional guest service, build strong guest relationships, communicate effectively, and maintain professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail in a high-touch luxury environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting, support luxury events and private functions, and collaborate effectively with dining room, culinary, and leadership teams.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all required alcohol service certifications, work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events, and be able to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds. This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing.
