Job Details:

• Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Outpatient Clinic
• Location: Brooklyn Center, MN
• Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
• Pay: $24.50 - $32.77 per hour (Based on experience) + Benefits
• Schedule: Days
• Hours: 8 hours/day, 80 hours per 2-week pay period
• Shift Window: Anytime between 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM
• Weekends: None
• On-Call: None

Position Overview

We are seeking a  Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)to join an outpatient clinic in Brooklyn Center, MN.

The LPN will work collaboratively with providers and the healthcare team to provide quality patient care, support clinic operations, and help maintain efficient patient flow. The position serves patients across a variety of age groups and requires strong communication, teamwork, and clinical skills.

-> Key Responsibilities

• Assist with patient intake and rooming
• Obtain and document vital signs and patient information
• Support providers with examinations and treatments
• Administer medications, injections, and immunizations as directed
• Collect laboratory specimens
• Perform phlebotomy and clinic laboratory duties as needed
• Provide telephone support and assist with patient communication
• Coordinate communication between patients and providers
• Assist with prescription refills
• Provide front desk/check-in support when needed
• Assist with prior authorizations
• Order and stock supplies
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Communicate patient concerns, questions, and changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare team members
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a collaborative clinic environment

-> Required Qualifications

• Active Minnesota LPN/PN license at the time of submission
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to provide documentation of active Minnesota licensure and BLS certification
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively in an outpatient clinic setting
