Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)

Our members receive highly personalized care designed to improve long-term health, recovery, and performance in a calm, elevated environment.

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled New York State Licensed Massage Therapist to join our growing team.

Position Summary

This position is ideal for an experienced massage therapist who enjoys working with wellness-focused and medically supervised clients. You will provide therapeutic massage services to Apollo House members and private clients while collaborating with our multidisciplinary team, including physicians, exercise physiologists, and registered dietitians.

Compensation

• Guaranteed per diem: $150 for each scheduled workday
• Additional compensation for every massage performed beyond the guaranteed daily minimum
• Opportunity for increased hours as our membership continues to grow
• Gratuities accepted

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality therapeutic massage treatments tailored to each client's needs
• Maintain accurate treatment documentation when required
• Educate clients on recovery, mobility, and wellness strategies
• Collaborate with physicians and other wellness providers to support individualized care plans
• Prepare and sanitize treatment rooms according to New York State regulations and clinic protocols
• Maintain professional, compassionate, and concierge-level client service

Qualifications

Required

• Active New York State Massage Therapy License
• Insurance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative healthcare team

Preferred

• Experience in a medical practice, wellness clinic, physical therapy, chiropractic, or sports performance setting
• Training in deep tissue, sports massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, or recovery-focused techniques
• Experience working with active adults, athletes, or clients managing chronic pain
