Job Description

About the Company
Our client is a privately owned real estate investment, development, and property management company with a growing residential portfolio throughout Brooklyn and surrounding neighborhoods.

Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on, field-based Field Property Coordinator to oversee property conditions, support tenant relations, and ensure operational excellence across multiple residential properties. This role is primarily focused on on-site property inspections, tenant communication, and reporting rather than office-based administrative work.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently while traveling between properties throughout the day.

Location: Brooklyn, NY
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 annually + Monthly Travel Allowance Key Responsibilities
  • Visit 2–3 residential properties daily throughout Brooklyn, primarily in Flatbush, Crown Heights, and surrounding neighborhoods.
  • Conduct routine property inspections to evaluate cleanliness, maintenance needs, and overall property condition.
  • Take photographs and document property conditions, maintenance issues, and work orders for reporting purposes.
  • Serve as on-site support for tenant communication and issue resolution.
  • Assist with tenant interactions related to lease signings, move-ins, and general inquiries.
  • Report maintenance concerns and coordinate follow-up with internal teams and vendors.
  • Ensure all properties are maintained according to company standards and present a professional appearance.
  • Act as the primary field representative and liaison between ownership, tenants, and properties.
Qualifications
  • Bilingual in Spanish required.
  • Highly reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Comfortable working independently and traveling between multiple locations daily.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Professional and presentable demeanor.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse tenant population.
  • Previous experience in property management, field operations, customer service, hospitality, or a related field preferred.
  • Comfortable walking through Brooklyn neighborhoods independently during daytime and occasional evening visits.
  • Strong accountability and follow-through.
  • Comfortable working in a field-based environment rather than a traditional office setting.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism within residential communities.
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
  • Cultural awareness and the ability to engage respectfully with tenants from diverse backgrounds.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Annual salary of $50,000 - $60,000.
  • Monthly flat travel allowance.
  • Paid vacation and major holidays.
  • Performance-based bonus opportunities.
  • Career growth and advancement opportunities.
Why This Role Matters
This position plays a critical role in maintaining quality, consistency, and tenant satisfaction across a growing residential portfolio. As the company's field representative, you will help ensure properties are well-maintained, tenant concerns are addressed, and company standards are consistently upheld. Equal Employment Opportunity
