A wonderful family in the Princeton, NJ area is seeking an experienced Full-Time Executive Housekeeper to join their household long-term. They are looking for someone who truly enjoys caring for a home and takes pride in keeping everything exceptionally clean, organized, and running smoothly. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and energetic, with previous experience working in a high-end private residence. This family is looking for someone who is warm and personable while still understanding professionalism, discretion, and boundaries within a private home.

Start Date : ASAP

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, with some flexibility with start and end times

Compensation & Benefits : $40/hour DOE, W-2 employment, 40 hours guaranteed per week, paid vacation, paid holidays, paid sick time, annual discretionary bonus, and mileage reimbursement or use of a family vehicle for work-related driving.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily housekeeping and detailed cleaning throughout the residence, maintaining a consistently high standard of cleanliness
• Manage all household laundry, linens, ironing, and garment care; must be diligent about reading care labels and following specific laundering instructions
• Provide daily floor care, including mopping floors each day
• Maintain and organize closets, cabinets, pantries, and storage areas
• Properly clean and care for fine furnishings, surfaces, china, silver, glassware, and other household items
• Monitor household supplies and assist with restocking as needed
• Handle light grocery shopping and household errands
• Manage dry-cleaning drop-offs and pickups
• Handle returns, including Amazon packages, and other local household tasks
• Receive packages and deliveries and assist with welcoming household vendors and guests
• Assist with the care of the family's two small dogs and be comfortable dog-sitting while the family travels
• Provide occasional local transportation for the family's two middle-school-aged children
• Assist with household entertaining, parties, holiday preparation, and seasonal projects

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous professional housekeeping experience within a high-end private residence
• Excellent knowledge of household cleaning, organization, laundry, and proper care of fine items and garments
• Proactive and self-directed with the ability to anticipate household needs
• Strong attention to detail and consistently high standards
• Discreet, dependable, trustworthy, and respectful of the family's privacy
• Comfortable following a professional dress code
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Comfortable with and genuinely dog-friendly
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Excellent professional references
• Willing to complete background and driving-record checks
