Legal AssistantThe Entry-Level Legal Assistant role provides our new hires with the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in our bankruptcy practice area, as well as demonstrate their ability to meet performance standards. Our firm maintains a collegial work environment that prioritizes internal promotion, training, and professional development.The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, have excellent service orientation and communication skills, and pay strong attention to detail.This is an in-office role located at our headquarter location in Boca Raton, Florida.ResponsibilitiesWork within the firm's Bankruptcy Department under the general supervision of the Paralegal Supervisor and department attorneysFile Proof of Claims throughout multiple jurisdictions nationwidePrepare certificate of service and additional documents as neededCommunicate with team, supervisors, and clients through phone and emailMust be a team player willing to assist throughout the departmentWilling to take on new tasks, adapt to new challenges, and engage in ongoing trainingQualificationsPrior experience working in a law firm or legal environment. Previous experience working in the bankruptcy field is a plusWorking knowledge of PACER, NextGen, and/or CM/ECF systemKey skills include: critical thinking, attention to detail, effective communication, and strong sense of teamworkStrong problem solving skills and enjoys working with numbersAbility to manage a high volume of files and prioritize workload appropriatelyRequired Education and TrainingAssociates Degree strongly preferred or equivalent work experienceHigh school or equivalent requiredBasic principles of Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control strongly preferredRobertson, Anschutz, Schneid, Crane & Partners, PLLC is a national law firm specializing in creditors' rights and real estate law, offering employees the opportunity to work on high-impact legal matters in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with strong growth potential.
