Catering Event Servers

Company: Hearty Boys Caterers
Location: Off-site venues throughout the Chicago area

Hearty Boys Caterers is seeking experienced Catering Event Servers to join our team for off-site catered events, including weddings, private parties, and corporate functions throughout Chicago.

We regularly work at some of Chicago’s most distinctive event venues, including the  Chicago Cultural Center, Artifact Events, Fairlie, Salvage One, Wildman BT, Greenhouse Loft, and Ovation .

This position is primarily focused on weekend evening events , making it an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for flexible, well-paid weekend work.

Compensation

$20 - $23 per hour , based on experience, plus gratuities .

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional, attentive service at catered events.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while following event specifications and service standards.
• Assist with event setup, service, and breakdown.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the event.
• Work effectively as part of a professional event team.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with guests, coworkers, and supervisors.

Requirements

• Previous catering, event, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Punctual, reliable, and professional.
• Available to work weekend evenings.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced event environment.
• Ability to lift and carry 25+ pounds .
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
• Servers  must obtain Food Handler and BASSET certifications within 30 days of hire .
