The candidate will utilize their engineering or computer science background to work on model-based systems engineering, avionics, embedded systems, and avionics applications.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and verify aircraft systems monitoring and synoptics applications. Perform systems/software requirements development, validation, integration, or verification. Engage in model-based system design, preferably using Simulink. Develop Arinc 661 graphics, using Scade if preferred. Work with sensors for aircraft position and navigation, including Air Data, AHRS, and GPS. Interface or integrate with aircraft systems such as flaps, gear, cabin pressure, and FADEC. Lead and guide team members as needed, utilizing extensive experience and judgment. QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering or computer science. At least 4-6 years of relevant experience. Experience with model-based systems engineering, avionics, embedded systems, or related areas. Familiarity with requirements development, validation, and verification processes. Strong knowledge of sensors used for aircraft positioning and navigation. Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of this position through relevant experience, training, or education.
