Part-Time Afternoon Support Teacher

As a Preschool Teacher, you'll help care for little ones who range in age from 3 to 4 years of age. Preschoolers are eager to learn about and explore their world. Through singing, dancing, and storytelling, you'll provide a safe and loving environment that nurtures the social, emotional, cognitive, creative and physical development of each child.
Primrose School of Godley Station is an accredited private preschool that provides a premier educational childcare experience. We offer year-round programs for children from infant through prekindergarten age.

· Prepare materials that help children explore their environment through learning activities and active play.
· Work with classroom teachers to implement the lesson plans from the research-informed Balanced Learning® curriculum.
· Help to maintain well-kept classrooms that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.
· Discover what works best for each child as you teach them about the world around them.

Desired skills and experience
· Must meet requirements of local childcare regulatory agency
· Previous teaching position in a licensed early childhood program preferred
· Certification or degree in the field of Early Childhood Education preferred
· Knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children
